■Washing Instructions
1. Hand wash in plenty of water.
2. Gently smooth out wrinkles.
3. Dry away from direct sunlight.

・Do not wash with other items.
・Do not leave wet.

By using this washing method, the color will gradually fade and the fabric will soften over time,
creating a unique tenugui with a distinct texture.
After extensive use, repurpose it as a cleaning rag,
and continue to use it for a long time.

■What happens if you use detergent?
The bleaching effect of detergent may cause rapid fading.
Using detergent with bleach or strong alkaline detergents
may damage and tear the fabric.

■What happens if you use hot water?
When the tenugui warms up in hot water, some dyes
may bleed, leading to rapid fading.

■Is color fading unavoidable?
As it is a dyed product, color fading is unavoidable. While it depends on the color,
it will settle down somewhat after a few washes.
After that, the color will continue to gradually fade, developing a unique texture.

■Will the fraying at both ends continue?
Initially, it will fray, so cut the weft threads with scissors or similar.
It will naturally stop fraying about 5-10mm from the edge.

■What if it's left unused?
If left unused for a long time with dye remaining on the fabric, the dye may penetrate too deeply and damage the fabric,
causing it to tear. Please wash it once before storing.
